Spent the weekend going to the Bahi Hut while staying at the Golden Host Resort. Such a Tiki experience! Mick and Brian behind the bar making great tropical drinks. Drag Bingo with Georgia Sunday night! Non-stop laughs, and a great ambience with no cover charge. Oldest tiki bar in Florida - started in 1954!
Great small local tiki bar, and it feels like you stepped a bit into the past. The bar has both indoor and outdoor seating, bar seating, and the bartenders are friendly and quick. Karaoke on Thursdays and live music on Fridays. We had a few drinks, and they were great. The only disappointment is that they stop serving food (bar food like fries) at 6pm.

What is this time capsule attached to a 1950's themed motel? It is a classic Tiki bar of course. What else would one expect when visiting a 1950's styled motel? The free drink tickets that come with the room are deceptively limited to key drinks so be aware before you order ... or use it on the 2nd round of drinks. Parking is ample and the patio is delightful. Classic motif, classic umbrella drinks, classic everything. Worth a stop for sure.
This place looks pretty sketch from the outside but it is all fun and tiki inside. Don't let the looks stop you. The tiki drinks are strong, hold their own, but do not have the cloying sweetness that steers many people away. We tried a handful of the cocktails. The first two are the painkiller and the chief lapu lapu. The painkiller was good. The lapu lapu was tart from the passion juice and drank quickly. We also tried the 1944 Mai Tai and the Hibiscus Mule. The Mai Tai had a smooth caramel from the Diplomatico rum. The hibiscus mule had a strong ginger taste from the beer, which was expected. The hibiscus ginger beer itself was a unique product/mixer I was unfamiliar with. Fun stop if you are in the area and are thirsty. :)
So happy to have found out about this cocktail bar. Tried three of their cocktails and they were all on point, great ambiance, clean and cheers to great success. The oldest bar in Florida but it looks like new
What a fabulous and historic place! Opened in 1954! I stumbled on it looking for a tiki bar during happy hour. This is the place to go for it! So many amazing drinks to chose from! Paul was my friendly bartender and great to talk with. Highly recommend to stop in and experience a "real tiki bar" like no other!
Happy hour is 1-6 pm Monday- Thursday. It’s super chill during the day and a party atmosphere at night. On the weekend they have a live band & the drinks are yummy, strong enough, creative!
